New Form Coming Out for Check the Box Entities

The IRS in January, 2004 proposed a new form 8858 for disregarded check the box entities.  The form actually has not been issued yet.  You can find the full IRS announcement at http://wwww.irs.gov/pub/irs-irbs/irb04-04.pdf or at http:/www.irs.gov/irb/2004-04_IRB/ar24.html.
 
The IRS has not had a form in the past. Therefore those with foreign entities that checked the box to disregard the entity were unsure whether forms 5471 or 8865 were required to be filed.
